Kristy Landers

Kristy Landers serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Emergence Capital, leveraging nearly 20 years of experience in the venture capital industry.

Before joining Emergence, Kristy held the position of CFO at Unusual Ventures, a Seed stage venture firm, where she played a pivotal role in implementing comprehensive accounting systems and a new Limited Partner portal to enhance data transparency and security.

Prior to her tenure at Unusual Ventures, Kristy served as VP of Finance at August Capital, a Series A venture firm, where she modernized the firm's accounting functions.

Kristy began her career as a Tax Manager at PriceWaterhouseCoopers LLP, specializing in venture capital clients, where she gained valuable insights into partnership taxation—a perspective that uniquely informs her management of finance functions within venture capital firms.

Kristy Landers earned a BA in Business Management and Economics from the University of California, Santa Cruz, followed by an MS in Accountancy from San Jose State University.
