Lotti Siniscalco

Lotti Siniscalco is a Partner at Emergence Capital, having joined as a Senior Associate in 2018 and rapidly moved up to lead investments in Oyster, Federato, and Whistic. She sits on the board of all three in addition to High Alpha, a B2B SaaS Incubator. In addition to this, she runs the team inside Emergence responsible for sourcing new deals, supporting the firm's associates to build their networks and their research and diligence skills.

Lotti brings tremendous domain understanding in fintech, where she spent years as both an operator and investor. At Advent International, the large global private equity fund, she spent three years investing in financial services and technology companies, and was an observer on TransUnion's board. She also worked in the business operations group at fintech startup NerdWallet, and was an early stage investor at Ribbit Capital, a fintech-focused VC, where she led diligence on companies in the cyber insurance and 401K spaces.

As an immigrant originally from Italy, she's passionate about helping entrepreneurs with similar experiences and other underrepresented founders build iconic tech companies. For years, she's been involved in Mentors4u, a nonprofit that helps young Italian professionals navigate their careers. She's also long been a fierce advocate for women in venture capital, hosting a regular dinner series to bring together early stage women investors to compare notes and support one another.

Lotti began her career as an investment banker at Goldman Sachs. She has her BS from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and her MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. On weekends, you can find her chasing after her kids through San Francisco's Presidio.
